Our Goal

Our goal is to educate and expose guests to the rising San Diego craft beer scene by hosting blind tastings. Whether you’re a beer novice or connoisseur, participating in a BeerNerdz themed blind tasting challenge is a fun way to get involved and sample some of the amazing beer San Diego is producing.

How It Works

This unique blind tasting allows the seasoned beer connoisseur, as well as the beer novice, to test his or her skills in a fun, social setting. Guests will be given a scorecard with tasting notes, brewery and beer names, alcohol percentage, and IBU’s (bitterness scale) to help figure out which beer is which. Compete against other craft beer enthusiasts to see who can name the most beers correctly. It’s a great opportunity to sample and learn about some of San Diego’s best breweries in a comfortable environment.

Event includes scorecard, water and crackers to help cleanse your palate, and of course a generous sampling of eight beers.
